The poo pandal is the frame the whole ceremony happens under, so it carries the look of the function more than anything else. We build the structure on site and cover it in fresh flowers on the morning itself.
We make both the hand-carried canopy the family holds over the couple during the procession, and the fixed pandal over the mandapam. Carnation, rose and dense foliage are the usual choices; hanging strings of white flowers below the canopy are a small addition that reads very well in photographs.
